Finger style (PIMA), note reading, arpeggio patterns, and fundamentals.
A FUNdamental and interactive class covering the basics of reading notes and rhythm. With the recorder, ukulele, and drums as stepping stones, students build confidence and coordination before transitioning to violin, guitar, piano, flute, and any other instrument!
Our Mariachi Prep beginner ensemble requires basic experience in note-reading and playing. Our Intermediate and Pre-Professional ensembles require strong skills in note-reading, rhythm, pitch, and performance.
From beginner string classes to more advanced playing in City Strings, students work on tone production, left and right hand technique, rhythm, and note-reading skills. Etudes, shifting, advanced bow techniques, sight-reading, and ensemble playing are emphasized in more advanced classes.
Students start by learning basic chords and simple melodies, often accompanied by upbeat tracks. Students will develop their musical ear and rhythm, learning to accompany themselves while singing various popular tunes throughout the ages. This class is for all types of singers from beginner to advanced. Students will choose 2 songs to focus on from a list provided by Ms. Lorelei. During class we'll vocalize, sight-read, and study the repertoire focusing on healthy vocal production, intonation, rhythm, and artistry. "Karaoke" tracks will be provided for class and practice purposes.

Private and semi-private lessons are available for beginner through advanced levels. Tone production, technique, rhythm, and note-reading skills are emphasized.The lessons offer a valuable supplement to all types of ensembles and personal ambitions!
